Development of a Five-Parameter Model to Facilitate the Estimation of Additive, Dominance, and Epistatic Effects with a Mediating Using Bootstrapping in Advanced Generations of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

As a result of two crosses among three local varieties wheat, five populations (P1, P2, F5, F6 and F7) were used as parents grown during successive seasons; 2016/2017 2017/2018. To estimate types gene action (e.g., mean effects, additive, dominance, additive × dominance dominance), formulas developed from with algebraic solution, proof, mathematical proof. Besides, to test adequate simple additive-dominance model, A, B, C scaling developed. The path analysis method by PROCESS Macro, AMOS, Bootstrapping was employed assess the relationships between grain yield/plant (GYP) dependent variable each one number spikes (NS) 1000-grain weight (TW) independent variables. results show that there are eight validated equations (A, B C) effects (m, a, D, I L), respectively. Confidence interval using indicate TW played partial mediator NS an exogenous GYP endogenous variable. Generation means is relatively statistically reliable tool suitable for fundamental estimation different genetic influences.
